Meet on arrival at Jammu airport/ railway station and drive to Katra for Vaishnodevi Darshan. Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words “maa” and “mata” are commonly used in India for “mother”, and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Once you arrive at your Hotel, you will be duly checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight at Katra .

Early morning start for Vaishnodevi climb (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During Summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to beging the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan and back), morning flights are recommeded for best weather and least uncertainity. Return by late evening.

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 56 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis).Drive back to Srinagar. After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg at a distance of  84 Kms from Srinagar is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake.
