Arrive at Srinagar Airport , Meet our driver / Representative waiting for you outside the airport . Meet & greet , Then Visit to Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar collectively known as the Mughal Gardens are contribution of the great Mughal laid out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view entire City, along with famous Dal-lake & river Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of pashmina / Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned carpets. In everning head towards your houseboat, check in the houseboat for overnight stay

Nearly morning, after breakfast and check out the house boat, and drive to Wakha via Kargil, enroute stops include Sonamarg and Baltal hamlets, famous for rugged snow peaked meadows. Past Baltal cross over Zoji-La Pass (11,500 ft). We are in Drass valley with strikingly different landscape dotted with remote mud huts giving an impression that you really have traveled back in time. Lunch will be at midway (on own). After a passport check we continue on to Kargil . Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

After Check-out the hotel after breakfast and continue your journey to Leh. On the way, visit the Lamayuru Monastery, then head to Nemo where you will observe the confluence of the river Indus and Zanskar. Head onward towards Leh stop over at the Magnetic Hills, Pathar sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame. Reach Leh by late afternoon and acclimatize for rest of the day. Overnight in Leh. Note:- This day is the first day at such high altitude so we recommend minimum or very less movement. Relax and try and drink a lot of water. Overnight stay in the hotel.

The Shanti Stupa is white-colored domed-shaped structure, located in Chandspa which looks extremely beautiful during night when it is illuminated. This peace pillar was built a ‘peace sect’ of Japanese Buddhist organization to celebrate the completion of 2500 years of Buddhism and for the promotion of world peace. The Stupa that offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views.

Stay overnight in Leh.

Here we proceed towards a full day Tour to Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam, Spituk Monastery.

The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskar River and Indus rivers merge At Sangam you can enjoy the view of confluence of two river (Indus& Zanskar River).

Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war.

Gurudwara Patthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region.

Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. In the evening come back to Leh.Overnight in Leh.

Early morning, leave on road to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and considered as the highest motorable pass of the world and it is the perfect spot to capture the Mother Nature. In the afternoon, after having your lunch at some restaurant in Nubra Valley and Check in Guest House. Nubra has acquired fame for its sand dunes, the cold desert that surrounds it, Bactrian camels and its breath-taking natural beauty.

Stay overnight in Nubra.

Bactrian camels are another attraction. Native to the steppes of central Asia, the Bactrian camel has two humps, in contrast to the single-humped camels found in Rajasthan and other parts of India. The Bactrian camels were the main mode of transport when Ladakh was an important stopover on the Ancient trade routes with Central Asia. Evening enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel..

Today morning after breakfast we drive to turtuk village. Turtuk is a village of in the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir It is located in the Nubra valleyl, 80km from the Hunder , on the banks of the Shyok River. Turtuk was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control of this strategic area. Geographically, Turtuk lies in the Baltistan Region and is one among four such villages in India, the other three being Tyakshi, Chalunkha and Thang. It is predominantly a Muslim village, and residents speak languages including Balti, Ladakhi and Urdu. Turtuk is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. In the evening After visiting turtuk village we are drive back to Hunder village (Nubra) .

 

Stay overnight in Nubra.

Today after your breakfast you will visit the Disket Monastery. After that start your day tour of Pangong Lake via Shayok is scheduled for the itinerary.

A huge statue of Buddha on top of it, the Diskit monastery is situated in the Nubra valley of Ladakh. Also known as Diskit Gompa, the Buddhist center is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Leh Ladakh. The Diskit monastery was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo in the 14th century, and at present stands atop a hill above the plains of Shayok river. The prime attraction of the Diskit monastery is 100 foot high Maitreya Buddha statue, which was inaugurated by the holy Dalai Lama. From the top of the Gompa, where the divine statue is settled, one can have a panoramic view of the Nubra valley.

The Pangong Lake is around 135 kilometers away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters. En route, cross Chang la pass and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh.In the afternoon, explore the lake and its surroundings. Experience the Hypnotic & Picturesque Beauty of Pangong Tso Lake..

Stay overnight in Pangong.

Tomorrow, you will drive back to leh via Changla Pass.On the way we can visit: (Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace & Rancho School on a way back to leh Shey Palace –

Shay Palace is situated approx. 15 km south upstream from Leh and was built 1650. It has the largest Changchup Chorten – Victory Stupa in Ladakh. The top of it is made of pure gold. Stupa is a dome shaped building erected as a Buddhist shrine and they are seen all over.

Thiksey Monastery – One of the main attractions inside the Thiksey Monastery is the Maitreya Buddha. The statue is almost two stories tall and is a splendid piece of architecture.

Overnight at Hotel.

In the morning, you’ll be escorted to Kushok Bakula airport to catch flight for onward destination with sweet memories of Ladakh & Kashmir to cherish throughout life
